Step 1: Book the course

To reserve your course please complete the booking form on this site, or telephone our booking centre on?0845 618 5090 .? The medical and licence application forms will be sent to you the same day. We will also send you a theory test training manual and DVD.

Step 2: Take your medical

This can be arranged with your GP, who will charge for this service.? The GP must fill in the Medical Form D4 which should be submitted to the DVLA together with your Licence Application Form.

Step 3: Complete your provisional licence application form

To attend a driving course or take a theory test, you must possess a provisional LGV/PCV/HGV licence. This is in addition to your normal car licence even though the details are entered onto the same document. Only holders of full car licences will granted a provisional licence for Class C vehicles, and it is necessary to pass a driving test in a Class C vehicle before being allowed to drive a Class C+E vehicle. Your Class C licence can then act as a provisional Class C+E licence.

Step 4: Book an assessment lesson

If you would like, you can come to us for a one hour assessment lesson before you take your Theory Test

Step 5: Take the LGV and HGV Driver Training Theory Test

When you receive your Provisional Licence, you are then required to take a Theory Test.? As soon as you receive your licence back from Swansea you should book your theory test.? We will provide you with the necessary literature and support to help you through this stage. You will have everything you need to pass the test at the first attempt provided you have studied the material thoroughly.

Step 6: Take the driving course

Now it’s time to get behind the wheel on your driver training course at your chosen Fresh Logic training centre.? This will cover every aspect of your training to enable you to pass your test

Step 7: Take the Practical Driving Test

We will book your practical driving test and reserve your seat in the vehicle at your chosen training centre.? We will pre-book your Test and arrange your Driver Training around the Test date. You will receive a pass certificate when you have passed your test.

Step 8: You’ve done it

Now that you’ve passed, you should send the pass certificate and your provisional licence to the DVLA for upgrading to a full licence. If you have passed a rigid vehicle test your licence will automatically be returned to you with the artic provisional included.
